This position works with children who have a diagnosable mental illness, and their families, serving 11 counties of the Panhandle. Professional Partners provide wraparound services for families including development of formal/informal support teams and documentation of progress. Responsibilities

• Intake processing and advocating for children and their families
• Linking families to services and assisting them in forming support systems
• Monitoring progress toward goals and marketing the program

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population and flexibility to work in a variety of situations/settings
• An understanding of mental health diagnoses, issues and family dynamics (ideal)
• Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred but not required, or experience working with children and families
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a good driving record — daytime travel throughout western Nebraska is required
